The Flagship of The Whistler range, 46% ABV 7yo Single Malt .The Blue Note acquires its complex, yet rich & smooth taste from its 5y maturation in Bourbon barrels, with further ageing in hand-selected, first-fill Sherry Hogsheads, developing notes of dark fruits & unique tannins.
Non-chill filtered, with natural colour, the sweet lemon sherbet balances with creamy salted caramel & undertones of red currants & dark fruit. Palate is dry, tannic, citrus sweet, slightly peppery tied with hints of red berries. Finish is light sweet citrus, giving way to the soft wood influence.
